The BalancePlus 400 Series is the newest release from the number one curling shoe company. The 403 is what was know as the 400 last year, the 03 part of the name change indicates the standard 3/16" slider that comes on the shoe. The 3/16" slider is great for 90% of curlers, fast and durable. It's a hybrid between the 200 and 500 series shoes. It has an upper that is very similar to the 200, and a split sole similar to the 500. The benefit to the split slider is increased flexibility and ultimately a little more comfort, whether you go up on your toe while delivering, or just going up and down the sheet sweeping.
